By 2021, the total number of these people will increase from 450,000 in the year of 2015 to 3.4 million.

A senior analyst named Andre Malm from Berg Insight claims that current target of many insurance and social nursing projects is to reduce medical cost by fulfilling family care with the help of remote nursing or medical technology. Now, remote service provider and nursing personnel becomes increasingly interested in medical nursing resolution, which is more suitable to certain client, compared with traditional medical system.
As shown by a report published by Berg Insight in December, 2015, there are 4.9 million patients who have used remote monitoring devices, with an increase of 51% in comparison with 2014. It is predicted by the company that the number will continue raising , the compound annual growth rate will be maintained at 48.9% and there will be 36.1 million patients using remote monitoring device by 2020.
It is indicated by the company that the revenues from remote monitor of patient in 2015 is about 6.7 billion USD. The revenues include connection resolution, nursing service-distributing platform and the earnings from monitoring equipment. According to the estimation of the company, the CAGR of the operating income of remote monitor will be maintained at 32.1% and the operating income by 2020 will reach 27 billion USD.
